Year 1's made a star of David from the story of David and the Goliath.
Class 1 designed boats in Design and Technology and then tested them to see if they would sink or float.
We used the globe to look at oceans and continents.
We loved seeing the ships and treasure maps you have been working on at home. We have been very impressed indeed!
Ships Ahoy!
We found a treasure map and followed it. At the end we found a treasure chest with lots of treasure inside.
Year 1 children have been learning some British Sign Language.
We continued to investigate a variety of materials. We made predictions on what we thought would float or sink. We then tested these materials to see and record the results.
Year 1 children programmed Beebots to move then in a variety of directions to reach destinations. The Year 1 children then went on to demonstrate how to use the Beebots and they all got to to have a go.
We have been investigating a variety of different materials. We sorted numerous different objects by their properties.
Our first day back to school and we had snow. We enjoyed a bit of fun in the making snowballs, snow angels and playing with the snow.
