Welcome
Thank you for visiting our website. We hope it gives you an insight to some of the wonderful things that go on in our school.
Church Aston Infant School has a special charm all of its own. We aim to offer our children a unique learning opportunity where each child is encouraged to have fun with their learning. To explore the world around them and to challenge themselves to do their best and to reach their full potential.
We have an extremely dedicated team of staff, Governors and parents that all work together to ensure our children receive an education that is focussed on their needs, abilities and interests. Our curriculum is wide ranging offering real life experiences wherever possible in order to engage our children and support them in their development of lifelong skills.
Our school is based on positive relationships. We encourage children to focus on our school values of care, learn, respect, safe and fun. We have high expectations of behaviour that children respond well to. We aim for a calm and purposeful environment in which children are confident to take risks in their learning, are able to work independently and demonstrate co-operation with others.
Early Years provision offers a happy and stimulating environment for children begin their education. This enables them to move successfully into Key Stage 1, where they continue to make excellent progress and are well prepared for their next stage of education.
We have close links with St Andrews Church, the Village Hall, Chetwynd Deer Park, sporting facilities and further amenities within the Newport area. Allowing children to broaden their experiences through the local community.
We are pleased to be able to provide a breakfast club and a range of after school clubs which offer a wide variety of activities to capture the imagination and talents of the children.
If you would like to find out more then please come and see us in action, you will be very welcome.
