Puppet Show

We were very lucky to have been treated to the Puppet Show 'East of the Sun, West of the Moon'. The theater company 'Fetch' used Bunraku puppetry which is a Japanese traditional puppet theatre in which half-life-size dolls act out a chanted dramatic narrative. The show had no words and the children engaged with the puppets to let their imagination show them the story being told by the puppets. It really was enchanting. The children had many questions to ask following the show.

Many thanks to Dr Janet Bennett (our Chair of Governors) and her husband Malcolm for arranging the show for us, it was extremely kind of them and was much appreciated. It was such a great opportunity for them to see a live performance.
