Farewell Mrs Bryon

Mrs Bryon Retires

We sadly had to say farewell to Mrs Bryon on Friday 30th April as she started her retirement.

Mrs Bryon has been at our school for twenty-seven years. Initially as a parent, then lunchtime supervisor, teaching assistant and for the last fifteen years as class teacher. She has always been so supportive of the many children that she has worked with.

She was an excellent member of staff, fully committed to the teaching, learning and ethos of our school. She will of course be greatly missed by children, staff, parents, and Governors.

As part of her retirement, we nominated her for a Worthy Citizen Award and this was kindly presented to her by Cllr Simon Stacey (Chair of CAPC) during a special assembly.

The children made her some beautiful cards, bunting and a fabulous felt flower picture for her.

She was very overwhelmed by all the kind wishes and gifts given to her during her last working day in school.

We wish her a very happy, safe, and long retirement that she so deserves. She may not be here as a teacher in the coming weeks, but I know she will keep in contact with us, and we will look forward to seeing her again very soon.
